I am the Managing Director of Ski Solutions and have been lucky enough to be a part of the development and growth of this business since 2002. Skiing is my total love and passion, and having got into the sport via a school trip to little known Folgarida in Italy back in 1994, I have been hooked ever since. My favourite off the piste activities are long lunches in Italy. My all time favourites are Chiecco and La Maison Vielle in Courmayeur. The Italians have turned the ski lunch in to an art form, and always incredibly good value. For après ski partying, it’s still hard to beat St Anton and the craziness of the Mooserwirt, though Ischgl gives them a run for their money.
James is a senior member of our Hotel Tour Operating team and has been with Ski Solutions since 2004. He has been skiing since he was 3 years old and has worked seasons in Lech as a resort manager and a ski host. And as for off the piste activity, you can't beat the Europop in Austria.
Clare is a senior member of sales team and specialises in North America. She has been with Ski Solutions for an incredible 17 years. Skiing since she was 3 years old, Clare has skied seasons in Colorado, Verbier & Morzine. Her favourite off the piste activity is discovering the local hostelries.
Tom has been skiing since the age of 4 and has spent seasons working in both Val d’Isere and Verbier. When not on the slopes you’ll find him enjoying the après ski in Folie Douce, Le Petit Danois or Farinet.
After graduating from Leeds university, Alice completed a ski season in Verbier where she well and truly caught the skiing bug. The superb itinerary runs, scenery and stunning chalets in this resort made it clear in her mind that skiing would be a big part of her life from there on in.
Following her season and a brief spell travelling, she was lured to London where she's now been happily immersed in the ski industry for three years. She's delighted to continue her passion for all things ski here at Ski Solutions
My first skiing experience was on the dry slopes of Bracknell but La Clusaz is where I got the ski bug at the age of 11. I have skied every year since - mainly in France. I love skiing with large groups of people, and have done it on pretty much every visit to the Alps. Nobody likes a lonely chairlift.
I have been working in the travel industry for 9 years having worked for a number of specialist ski agencies, including Club Med, before moving on to Ski Solutions. Having been lucky enough to ski numerous resorts, I’d have to say Courchevel 1650 is always going to be my favourite.
I started skiing when I was 15 years old after being surprised with a trip from my father. Since that first trip, I’ve been very involved with skiing for both work and pleasure. During my time at university, I was chairman of the Snow Sports society, organising trips for very lively club members!
I began skiing on my first season in Meribel, and I have to say I never thought I would spend so much of my Christmas day face down in the snow! I soon fell in love with the mountains and tree-lined skiing of the 3 Valleys, which lead me to complete a further two seasons. I have now settled down in London and continued my career in the ski industry firstly with Skiworld, before moving on to Ski Solutions.
Steve has been a passionate skier for two decades, and has worked across many of Europe’s finest resorts over the past seven years. He finds it impossible to pick a favourite ski resort but has great memories of Chamonix, Zermatt and Obergurgl. Since returning to the UK he has worked for 2 years in the ski holiday sales industry before moving to Ski Solutions.
I have been skiing since a school trip to Andorra aged 11, following that I continued to ski every year with school or university until I was able to a full season. Six seasons in the following 10 years and I’m well and truly hooked. Having Spent four years living year round in Courchevel I felt it was time to return to the UK and am excited that I can continue working in the ski industry in London.
Having skied since the age of 8 and having numerous seasons under my ski’s, it was time to come back to London and settle down– but the thought of not thinking about skiing every day was too much so….if I can’t be in the mountains all season the least I can do is send people to them.
My skiing experience started on a dry slope in Southampton as a 10 years old. I was pretty much hooked after that first session and have loved skiing and everything to do with it ever since. Upon finishing my education, I head out to the Alps and completed three winter seasons before coming back to the UK to focus on the sales side of the ski industry.
I started snowboarding at the age of 18 and fell in love with the mountains. I have done a season in Courchevel and a summer season in Morzine as well as visiting other, mainly French, resorts. I have over 2 years’ experience in the travel industry and tend to spend most of my holiday heading out to the Alps whenever possible.
