California’s Northstar ski resort offers a brilliant family experience for skiers of all levels and age groups. With 97 runs covering 3,000 acres of skiing terrain, along with several activities through the day and night, Northstar ski resort makes for an excellent family getaway through the winter period. Skiers can enjoy a total of 100 runs, with the majority being designed for intermediate skiers. There are, however, a number of beginner runs, and some challenging advanced trails so that all visitors leave satisfied.

There is also a back-country area called Sawtooth Ridge which proves a haven for powder-hounds. Northstar boasts six terrain parks and two halfpipes, making it one of the best resorts in North America for snowboarders.

Ski schools are available for first-time skiers, novices and advanced skiers at varying rates. Ski lessons are available either privately or in groups. Northstar also offers scenic gondola and lift rides for you to enjoy the breath-taking scenery that Northstar and Lake Tahoe has to offer.
