Sales Account Manager

As we exit what we hope to be the only winter that ski lifts don’t turn, our focus turns to Winter 21/22 and what we see as an enormous opportunity to consolidate Ski Solutions position as the market leader in our industry. To achieve this we are once again looking to further grow our specialist account management team at Ski Solutions. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most established and successful sales teams in the ski industry. Although the head office is in London we are looking to recruit either an office based member of staff or home worker. 

The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain relationships with clients through focused account management. Using your honed sales skills and experience, you will convert leads into bookings making sure that agreed targets are achieved, while ensuring the companies high standard of unparalleled service is upheld. 

It is important you are a keen skier, who not only is passionate about the mountains, but also has a proven track record in ski holiday sales, preferably, tailor-made. 

The role comes with a competitive basic pay and unrivalled OTE, as well as superb company benefits. You will also be placed on the Account Manager Progression scheme which looks after a staff member’s desire to progress within the business. 

The start date for this role is flexible depending on the calibre of the candidate. However, it’s likely to start in the late Spring, early Summer.

Digital Content Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a digitally-minded Content Executive to join our team, working across our travel brands: Ski Solutions, Cycling for Softies and BSpoke Tours. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual with strong communication skills to work within an exciting, fast-paced travel environment.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging content for our website, blogs, digital brochures, campaigns and social channels. You will also play a pivotal role in helping us finalise our transition to digital comms. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a content marketing calendar throughout the year across our blogs and social media channels
  • Research and write fresh, SEO-relevant content for our blogs on a range of topics
  • Get involved in our wider SEO efforts, conducting keyword research and optimising existing content on our blogs and website, to help improve our keyword ranking
  • Manage our organic social media channels for all three brands, developing a plan to grow and engage our audience and host regular giveaways
  • Design and build our monthly paid social campaigns in Facebook Business Manager, monitor performance and share regular reports
  • Support the team with ongoing website maintenance
  • Support the Marketing Manager with campaign delivery throughout the year
  • Ownership of our image library, including collating imagery from resorts, building out our UGC, and ensuring we have the correct image rights in place
  • Ensure all content is created in line with our brand guidelines
  • Support the wider team when need arises, with property uploads, pricing and newsletters

Essential

  • Two years experience in a marketing position
  • Strong copywriting skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills with excellent timekeeping
  • Experience managing social media platforms
  • Experience using Photoshop
  • Understanding of SEO best-practice
  • A love for travel, skiing and cycling

Desired

  • Experience using Facebook Business Manager
  • Experience using InDesign
  • Experience reporting within Google Analytics
  • Experience working within a website CMS 
  • Experience with SEO management tools e.g. Keyword Planner, Moz, Search Console

Operations Executive

Role Introduction
This is a wide-ranging and exciting role, supporting our winter-sports and cycling programmes, in a fast growing and ever-changing business. As part of our Operations team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of our holidays, and you will help to support our Client Services and Sales teams with all administrative aspects of the booking process once the client has confirmed their holiday. Our ideal candidate will have unparalleled attention to detail, the willingness to go the extra mile and a flexible, positive attitude.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Processing new bookings and invoices 
  • Preparing travel itineraries and dispatching client travel documents 
  • Producing ski hire vouchers for the client 
  • Collecting client names and passenger details prior to departure 
  • Liaising with tour operators to administer changes to client bookings 
  • Supporting the Client Services Manager and the wider Client Services team with ad hoc admin duties 
  • Arranging client payments by phone or bank transfer 

Essentials

  • Previous office experience 
  • Excellent written communication and a friendly telephone manner with a willingness to go the extra mile 
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail 
  • You must work well in a team with a hard-working and flexible approach 
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines 
  • Numerate

Client Services Concierge

This is a wide-ranging and exciting role, supporting our winter-sports and cycling programmes, in a fast growing and ever-changing business. As part of our Client Services team you will be responsible for every aspect of the booking process once the client has confirmed their holiday. Our ideal candidate will have unparalleled customer service skills, a keen eye for detail and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.

Roles and Responsibilities
 
Concierge

  • Provide support and guidance to the client post booking, ensuring unparalleled service is always delivered
  • Answering client queries regarding their accommodation or resort by phone and email
  • Assisting clients in booking lift passes, ski school, ski hire and restaurants

Administration

  • Liaising with tour operators or directly with European and North American suppliers to administer changes to client bookings
  • Processing new bookings and invoices
  • Preparing travel itineraries and sending client travel documents
  • Arranging client payments by phone or bank transfer
  • Chasing clients in a timely manner to pay any overdue monies

 Essentials

  • Previous office experience
