Passo Tonale is a family orientated ski resort located in northern Italy and sits at an altitude of 1,885 meters. The ski resort offers skiing up to 3,100 metres, meaning that snow is virtually guaranteed. Moreover, Passo Tonaleski resort provides 100 kilometres of skiing across 41 pistes that are accessible via 30 ski lifts and are covered by 200 snow cannons to help ensure that the slopes are well groomed.
Beginners can progress very quickly due to the comfort of the slopes and intermediate skiers can challenge themselves here. The 4.5 kilometre Alpino red is a favourite. Furthermore, Passo Tonale ski resort offers magnificent off-piste skiing to keep advanced skiers entertained.
There are more than enough bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes and budgets. In addition to the skiing, there is also swimming, tobogganing, ice skating and a health and fitness/beauty spa.

Passo Tonale ski resort is part of the Adamello ski area, with a gondola linking to the Ponte di Legno area. Skiing is available on both sides of the valley and modern lift facilities make accessing all parts of the resort and surrounding areas easy. The resort has over 200 snow cannons meaning skiing is always accessible.
Beginners are well catered for in Passo Tonale ski resort, with a range of nursery slopes and good progressive runs. The majority of the slopes suit intermediate skiing with lengthy blues and reds. Advanced and expert skiers can enjoy the Paradiso 3km black run, as well as the red and black runs from Cima Presena. Cross-country runs are also available in resort.
Snowboarders will find Passo Tonale very appealing due to the downhill runs, the great off-piste and the fantastic snowpark. The Adamello Freestyle Arena offers a range of features and jumps, as well as a 1,000m snowcross.

The Fantaski Kindergarten run by the Ponte di Legno Tonale Ski School offers a large playground dedicated to children. Here youngsters can combine learning to ski with fun games as well as a selection of other outdoor and indoor activities too, ensuring they fall in love with the mountains too.
Passo Tonale is a quiet ski resort, though there are a few restaurants to chose from. La Torretta is a delicious pizzeria and Magic Pub has resort famous burgers, perfect for families looking for great value. For a traditional Italian three-course meal try El Bait or Il Focolare, both have a relaxed and cosy atmosphere.
Due to its relaxed nature, there is limited après on offer in Passo Tonale ski resort. Bar Heaven, the Ombrello bar and Nico's Bar are popular places to enjoy a drink after a day's skiing.
Non-skiers can enjoy various other winter activities including ice-skating, Skidoo rides and tobogganing in Passo Tonale ski resort. As well as this, there is also a public swimming pool available named the 'Butterfly Indoor Pool'.
