Sauze d'Oulx is right at the end of the large Milky Way ski area, providing you with access to the 440km of pistes. Spread across a large area, there is a combination of the restored old town with traditional chalets as well as large, modern hotels and apartments in the newer areas. With recent renovations across the whole resort, the modern infrastructure makes Sauze d'Oulx efficient and a pleasant place to spend a winter holiday.
The charming car-free town of Sauze d'Oulx's has vibrant nightlife ideal for those looking for lively entertainment after a day on the mountain. For families, the old town is popular with its quieter atmosphere and charming character.

Part of the Milky Way ski area, Sauze d'Oulx has access to a wide and expansive range of slopes across numerous resorts, including Sestriere and Claviere. With over 400km of pistes to suit all abilities and 70 lifts across the region, skiers and snowboarders have no chance of getting bored.
Providing access to a huge amount of terrain across the whole Milky Way ski area, Sauze d’Oulx offers great variety of skiing for all abilities. Montgenevre, Sestriere and Sanscario are all accessible via lifts and slopes, giving access to a wealth of skiing. Intermediates will be in their element with lots of large interconnected runs. With access to a network of slopes, advanced skiers will enjoy the challenging Olympic runs in Sestriere and the abundance of off-piste and varied terrain throughout.
The large cruising runs will be enjoyed by intermediates and the expansive area means that the more advanced boarders will be able to explore more challenging terrain. The off-piste is of great quality throughout the resort. There is a terrain park, however the location of it changes with each season.
With many ski schools and instructors to choose between, there really is something for everybody.

La Libellula offers childcare for children aged between 13 months and 6 years and is located at the foot of the slopes. The club hosts a range of activities both indoor and outdoor and offers hourly and daily basis bookings for families.
With over 30 restaurants there is plenty of choice of cuisine in Sauze d’Oulx. Traditional Italian banquets of five or six courses are a speciality of Cantun where unusual dishes compliment that rustic style. Del Falco is one of the most popular restaurants in town serving fine meats and homemade pasta. For something different in the mountains, Paddy McGinty’s does Mexican and American food. There are also a few pizzerias serving great tasting, good value food.
A huge variety of bars are scattered around the town, each offering its own atmosphere and specialities. For more of a family suitable place to go after a day of skiing, The Village Café at the foot of the slopes is a fun and friendly bar/café. For more of a relaxed atmosphere, both Derby and Il Lampione are intimate venues with a good selection of beers and cocktails. Osteria dei Vagadondi is the only live music venue and stays open until late.
