Voss ski resort is located in Western Norway and is one of the largest in the region, with a varied number of slopes for all levels. The ski resort is home to some of the best snow in the northern hemisphere and skiers can take advantage of the exceptional off-piste terrain. The resort can be reached from Bergen airport in just 90 minutes, either by car or train, making it an ideal ski resort for groups who are looking for a short break away.
Voss ski resort has 45km of groomed slopes and 11 ski lifts, including one brand-new gondola which allows direct access from the city centre in under ten minutes. The ski resort is perfectly suited for beginners and families, with many slopes being green and blue, and three dedicated fun ski areas for children. Though, there are two freestyle parks for those looking for some adrenaline.Voss ski resort also offers 11km night skiing three times a week in case you haven’t had your fix in the day.
The dedicated ski areas are Trollbakken, Grebbesbakken and Badnakorkjen. Trollbakken is located in front of Hangustoppen restaurant and has a gentle slope and a 65m magic carpet, it can be accessed from the main gondola from the city centre.
Grebbesbakken ski area is located in Bavallen, this an ideal area for skiiers to familiarise themselves and progress at their own pace.
Badnakorkjen ski area is perfect for children and beginners to challenge themselves on a more varied and fun terrain. Throughout the ski season Voss ski resort run exciting activities and free ski races.

Visitors can choose ski passes depending on how many days skiing they intend to do, and children under seven ski for free (however they are required to get a key card). Please note, evening skiing is included for free for those who have booked at least three day's skiing.
Day ski passes are valid until 16:00, and evening passes are valid from Tuesday and Thursday 16:00pm to 20:00pm and Friday 16:00pm to 21:00pm.
Voss ski resort has two entry points, from the city centre by the main gondola and also via Bavellen which is found 5km from Voss.
There are 24 ski slopes on the mountain including an international giant slalom and a SuperG slope. There are 18km worth of cross-country trails offering exceptional scenery of the Norweigan resort.
The ski resort hosts night-skiing three nights every week, with 11km of floodlight slopes for a unique evening experience.
Voss ski schools offer lessons for everyone, regardless of ski level. The ski schools have divided the lessons into four levels, allowing visitors the best tuition for the individual. Voss ski school also offers private lessons, group instruction, guided off-piste lessons, randonee, or in the terrain park. Alpine skiing, snowboarding, Telemark skiing, and cross-country skiing are all also offered at the Voss ski school. Experts in the resort will understand your needs and appropriately prepare you for your day on the snow.
Every Saturday there are two aprés ski options in Voss ski resort, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at Hangustoppen Restaurant or party in SkiBarBula at Bavallstunent.
Aprés at the Hangustoppen Restaurant begins at 15:00 and goes on until 20:00, while the SkiBarBula in Bavallstunet kicks off at 15:00 and finishes at 21:00.

Voss ski resort is easily accessible from the city via the lower station gondola which had been newly built. The brand-new gondola in the unique location by the traffic hub in the centre of Voss allows visitors to make an environmentally friendly journey up the mountain.
Visitors can easily access the ski resort by train, boarding at Bergen station and exiting at the top of the Hangustoppen mountain.
