Revelstoke's Mountain Child Care offers daycare for children aged from 18 months to 6 years. There are also group and private lessons available for children aged 3 to 6 years that can be offered on a full or half day basis.
The town of Revelstoke might be in the middle of the mountains but there are still a large variety of cuisines on offer. Woolsey Creek and 112 are the town’s top fine dining establishments serving sophisticated food in a contemporary setting. Kawakubo serves great sushi in the mountains.
Revelstoke isn’t the liveliest of towns, instead, the scene in the evening is more relaxed. The Village Idiot is a popular venue for live music as well as a vibrant bar with a variety of food. Last Drop is an ambient lounge with comfortable sofas and a log fire, great for a cocktail after a day's skiing. The Cabin is a lively bowling alley with a bar.
The town itself offers some interesting things to do and there is the opportunity to go on some awe-inspiring snowshoe walks into the backcountry. The Aquatic Centre has multiple pools, hot tubs and saunas which are perfect for relaxing after a long day.
