Revelstoke's 2,225m of terrain offers something for everyone, with long steep slopes for advanced skiers as well as excellent facilities for beginners and intermediates. The numerous bowls with exceptional, guaranteed powder make it the perfect haven for all skiers. The resort is also popular for heli-skiing and cat skiing.
The vast, open freeriding terrain, abundance of off-piste and technical tree runs makes this a haven for the expert snowboarder. Cat-boarding is also possible for those looking to explore untouched territory. Beginner slopes and long, cruising blues are perfect for those learning or at an intermediate stage. There is also a terrain park under the Stoke chairlift with a range of jumps and features.
The resort's Snow School offers programs for all ages and all levels of ability. Professional instructors tailor the program to your needs and create a learning environment that is both fun and knowledgeable. You are also able to hire a guide to give you and your group a private tour of the mountain where you can explore what Revelstoke has to offer.
Revelstoke's Mountain Child Care offers daycare for children aged from 18 months to 6 years. There are also group and private lessons available for children aged 3 to 6 years that can be offered on a full or half day basis.
The town of Revelstoke might be in the middle of the mountains but there are still a large variety of cuisines on offer. Woolsey Creek and 112 are the town’s top fine dining establishments serving sophisticated food in a contemporary setting. Kawakubo serves great sushi in the mountains.
Revelstoke isn’t the liveliest of towns, instead, the scene in the evening is more relaxed. The Village Idiot is a popular venue for live music as well as a vibrant bar with a variety of food. Last Drop is an ambient lounge with comfortable sofas and a log fire, great for a cocktail after a long, cold day. The Cabin is a lively bowling alley with a bar.
The town itself offers some interesting things to do and there is the opportunity to go on some awe-inspiring snowshoe walks into the backcountry. The Aquatic Centre has multiple pools, hot tubs and saunas which are perfect for relaxing after a long day.
