Oberlech ski resort is part of the incredible Arlberg ski area. It is considered one of the most exclusive ski destinations in the world with fantastic luxury ski accommodation options. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and the skiing is truly superb. You can explore 305km of slopes suitable for any level of skier. In addition, there are excellent links to nearby ski resorts St.Anton, Zürs, Warth-Schröcken and neighbouring Lech.
Oberlech is a satellite village two hundred metres above Lech itself. It is a car-free area which comprises a great selection of hotels. You can reach Lech by a local cable car which runs late until 1 am. It is also ideal for families with young children because of the local ski kindergarten in Oberlech. A peaceful way to enjoy the amazing Arlberg ski area.

Oberlech is in a ski-in ski-out location which is ideal to get around the vast ski area of the Arlberg. There are brilliant beginner slopes near the main village which are used by the local ski kindergarten regularly. Only a short lift away is Lech which has fantastic ski terrain. The slopes are best suited to intermediates with wide-open blues and reds to cruise on. On top of this, there’s superb off-piste skiing to enjoy in Lech.
The Arlberg ski area is one of the most impressive ski destinations in the Alps. It is the crown jewel of Austrian skiing with an incredible 305km of slopes to explore that has something for everyone. It is also the largest place in Europe for lift-served off-piste skiing. There is a state-of-the-art lift network that connects ski resorts St.Anton, Zürs, Warth-schröcken and neighbours, Lech.
No matter what level of snowboarder you are, Oberlech is a great destination to ride. There are great slopes to learn on near the main village. A short lift ride away is Lech which has brilliant powder pockets to drop into, if you love off-piste. Freestylers will enjoy the amazing 80-metre half pipe and fantastic fun park. There’s also a boarder-cross course for those that love a race.

Kinderclub Oberlech has brilliant childcare for kids from the age of 2 to 6. Ski lessons can be added to the childcare for kids 3-6 years old.
Googie’s babysitting agency is another great childcare option in the area. Highly trained staff can look after children at any hour you prefer.
Oberlech is only a small satellite village so most of the restaurants in the area are based within the local hotels. Restaurant PIZ Bistro within the Cresta hotel has brilliant food on its menu, combining traditional Austrian cuisine with international dishes.
The nightlife is very low-key in Oberlech as it's mainly for those that want a peaceful ski experience and families. There are a couple of bars in the area but it's best to make the trip to Lech or even St. Anton if you want a lively atmosphere.
Non-skiers will enjoy great walks along the valley floor surrounded by incredible alpine scenery. A short trip to Lech and you can enjoy brilliant shopping, bars, cafes and restaurants too. It’s easy to meet up with skiers in Oberlech for lunch, being so close to the slopes.
