San Cassiano Ski Holidays

San Cassiano is part of the Alta Badia ski area, which includes access to the resorts of La Villa, Colfosco and Corvara. The resort also has access to the Sella Ronda circuit. With over 130km of slopes and 55 well-connected lifts to take you up onto the mountain, skiers and snowboarders of all abilities can be kept truly entertained.

With access to the Alta Badia ski area, snowboarders of all abilities and skillsets can enjoy what the region has to offer. The snowpark in Alta Badia offers enthusiasts an excellent home base in the stunning Dolomites. Snowboarders and freeskiers are encouraged to take advantage of the five areas and 34 obstacles, with the option to start in the easy area and work up to the advanced area.

Although San Cassiano is relatively small, it still has its own fair share of dining options that include three Michelin-star restaurants. Most would agree that the traditional food served is to a higher standard than other resorts, yet still very much affordable. The resort is very popular so you will find numerous gourmet restaurants both up the mountain and in the village. Rifugio Fodom, found just under the Passo Pordoi, offers delightful Italian cuisine.

Walking tours, snowshoeing itineraries, a toboggan run and cross-country skiing are available for non-skiers in the San Cassiano area. Other resorts in the Alta Badia area are also easily accessed by gondola, meaning you can meet the skiers of the group for lunch on the mountain and go exploring on foot.
