    Ski Areas in Beitostølen

    Beitostølen ski resort has great range of beginner and intermediate slopes. There are two main ski areas, nine lifts and more than 320km of cross-country tracks. The children’s slope, equipped with their own lift, is adjacent to the slopes in the village centre so you’re never too far away if your children are having lessons. One ski pass covers both ski areas (Alpinsenteret and Beitostølen Ski Centre) and the shuttle bus will transfer you between the two.

    The slopes in Beitostølen ski resort are especially quiet during the week, which means that they’re perfect for beginners looking to learn or those wishing to refine existing skills. For keen skiers, two of the slopes are floodlit on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, extending the day and allowing for a different type of ski experience. For most people, the best thing about Beitostølen ski resort is how quiet the slopes are. Children can fly off without parents worrying about losing them.

    There’s a great snowboard park in Beitostølen, with its own lift, plenty of rails for boarders of all levels and a number of jumps (including two large ones). The slopes here are also well-adapted for snowboarders.

The runs are fast-paced and exhilarating, whether you choose to team up or ride solo. There’s an abundance of activities for the non-skiers in your group. From snow rafting and airboarding to a horse-drawn sleigh ride or husky dog sledding. These are all brilliant ways to experience Beitostølen’s beautiful scenery while you’re in resort.
