Although smaller and quieter, the delightful village has some stand-out restaurants of its own. Restaurant Pizzeria L’Tabladel offers traditional Ladin specialities, including homemade pasta. If you enjoy a casual, calm atmosphere then Colfosco won’t disappoint. Treat yourself to the renowned Altrove bar’s selection of fine cheeses and fanciful sandwiches or bask on the sun terrace of Restaurant Mathiaskeller.

Most of the lifts in Colfosco are accessible to pedestrians, meaning non-skiers can head off for a walk and then easily meet the skiers in their group at one of the beautiful lunch spots on the mountain. If you’re wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding areas then we’d recommend hiring a car – it’s well worth it so you can experience the local Italian villages.
