Chalet Charlie

If you're wondering how Chalet Charlie and its twin Chalet Tango got its name, look no further than the decor. The chalet is peppered with the parts of a Nord Noratlas 1950's aircraft. This bold style choice has created a chalet like no other, where vintage meets contemporary. With a dining table made from a wheel and landing gear, and a playroom built inside the fuselage, Chalet Charlie soars high above other chalet experiences.

The chalet is very close to the full ski lift network, meaning it's the perfect choice for a luxurious ski holiday. Not only this, but Chalet Charlie is in a prime location to explore the resort of Tignes as well, so you can shop and explore to your heart's content.

After an exciting day on the slopes, you'll find the chalet itself presents a wealth of fun. For relaxing there's a sauna, hot tub, steam room, and beautiful terrace. And if you're craving some competition, the table tennis and pool tables are the perfect solution.

Although Tango and Charlie are available as separate chalets, the fullest experience for a group comes from this joint chalet. Together they can house up to 30 guests across 11 bedrooms.

Tignes ski holidays offer a lively atmosphere with world-class, snow-sure skiing on the doorstep. Tignes ski resort is made up of several areas - Val Claret, Tignes 1800, Le Lac and Le Lavachet, which sits at a resort altitude of 2,100m, offering unparalleled access to the world-class slopes of the Espace Killy ski area. Tignes ski resort was purpose-built to ensure its skiers could wake up as close to the pistes as possible, and there is a wealth of ski-in ski-out accommodation options to choose between.

Popular with groups and families looking for a variety of slopes and well-priced accommodation, Tignes ski resort offers everything from high-altitude glacial runs on the Grande Motte Glacier, to a lively après scene featuring foot-stomping parties at the renowned La Folie Douce. The ski area links up with the famous ski resort of Val d'Isère, giving access to a vast 300km of slopes, plus plenty of off-piste opportunities. Keep a look out for the iconic 'Eye of the Needle' rock formation that sits at the top of the Aiguille Percee lift, and is one of Tignes' most instantly recognisable features.
