Westendorf ski resort is situated on an open plateau in the wide Brixen valley. This small, pretty Tyrolean village is a very family-friendly ski resort. The skiing in Westendorf is well interlinked with the neighbouring ski resorts of Ellmau and Söll in the SkiWelt ski area. The world-class lift system will get you around the mountains with ease. The nursery slopes are directly beside the village centre and there’s an excellent children’s program provided by the ski school. A gondola links Westendorf to Brixen and the rest of the slopes of the SkiWelt ski area, with a huge variety of skiing for both intermediate and advanced skiers. Access to Kitzbühel ski resort, with a further 215km of pistes, is via the Ki-West gondola.
