My first ever experience of the mountains was in a small resort called Aprica in Italy, on a school trip at 14 years old, and I loved it! Little did I know that for part of my university course, I would end up working as a receptionist in the Three Valleys in FranceMéribel-Mottaret, and it turned out to be an excellent place to learn to snowboard. My love of snowboarding then transferred into the working world, where my first job since graduating was selling ski holidays for a small, luxury tour operator.

It turned out I was a pretty good fit in the ski industry, especially after discovering some pretty enviable perks of the job, which include being able to sample the delights of the mountains on a regular basis. This ensures only the very best ski experiences for our clients, of course!

“…some pretty enviable perks of the job, which include being able to sample the delights of the mountains on a regular basis.”

I have now been in the travel industry for more than 15 years, having worked for several specialist ski agencies, including Club Med, before moving on to Ski Solutions. My favourite time to ski is always in March – it’s less expensive, quieter on the slopes, and who doesn’t love being on the mountains in the sunshine…

I learnt to snowboard at 21 in Mottaret on a year abroad at university and since then I have caught the bug. My favourite time to ski is always in the springtime – I love sunny runs in March.
