Contactless Catered Chalets

A new concept in chalet holidays, your chalet will be prepared for your arrival – cleaned, beds made, cupboards and fridges fully stocked with menus prepared for the week for you to reheat or cook as necessary. There will be no chalet staff in the property, instead, a behind-the-scenes team providing support who are there at the end of the phone if needed.

Included is a midweek visit when stocks of food and wine will be replenished, plus towels changed, beds made and the chalet cleaned.

What Does It Include?

Breakfast

Coffee & de-caffeinated coffee, tea, herbal tea and hot chocolate

Dinner

6 starters, to heat up or simple dishes to put together
6 main dishes, the majority will be prepared by a local Savoyard delicatessen, with just the rice or vegetables to cook and then one meal will be a simple dish to cook yourselves.
Desserts for the 6 days, with a mix of fruit tarts and individual portions of classic French desserts

Choice of red and white wine
Crème de Cassis for ‘Kir’ – a delicious French aperitif drink which you add to white wine (premium only)
Blackcurrant and lemon cordial

Pumpkin soup with croutons – Goat’s cheese salad with crispy bacon and balsamic & olive dressing (salad to put together yourselves) – Platter of French charcuterie (cold meats)

Chicken in red wine sauce served with a potato gratin and broccoli (to cook) – Hake ready prepared to pan-fry yourselves with rice and a vegetable gratin (from the delicatessen) – Duck in a cep mushroom sauce with crispy potato rostis.

French Normandy Apple tart served with crème anglaise – Chocolate Mousse – Waffles with chocolate sauce and Chantilly cream

Notes: At breakfast the supply of eggs & bacon and yoghurts is based on a choice of either a yoghurt or 1-2 eggs and 1-2 rashers of bacon each day per person, it is not an unlimited supply. The beer supplied is again not unlimited but should allow you to quench your thirst after skiing.

Depending on your chalet, there is a classic or premium contactless catered service as standard. However, there is also the possibility of an a la carte service or a catered chalet service with a private chef. If you’d rather just have the chalet on a self-catered basis we can do that too.
