Chalet Verseau

Perfect for families looking for a home from home feel, Chalet Verseau proves that the best things come in smaller packages. The open-plan living/dining area is decorated with lovely local furnishings and comes complete with wood-burning stove, giving a cosy and intimate atmosphere. The large balcony allows you to take in the mountain air in peace, while the chalet’s convenient location on the second floor of the residence (accessed via a lift) also means that guests can benefit from the sauna in the Altitude complex.

It is ideal for those wanting quick access to the slopes – the complex is just 200 metres (approx.) from the piste and the ski lifts are a 5-minute walk away. Alternatively, if your ski legs need a rest, you can catch the ski bus from right outside the complex. The centre of Val Thorens is a 10 minute (approx.) walk and there are several pubs, restaurants and ski shops nearby. Chalet Verseau is excellent value for a snow-sure resort of this calibre.

Val Thorens

Val Thorens takes the prize as the highest ski resort in Europe and as a result, it often has the best snow of Les Trois Vallées. The resort is at 2,300m and is one of the few stations that can almost definitely guarantee snow for both Christmas and Easter. Whilst Val Thorens is a purpose-built resort it has managed to keep its charm and is more architecturally beautiful than its rival resorts. Being in Les Trois Vallées means that you have easy access to the surrounding resorts such as Méribel and Courchevel.
