Chalet Vallon Blanc

Chalet Vallon Blanc is a lovely detached chalet nestled amongst the trees at the top of La Tania village. Just two minutes’ walk from the main lift station and just as close to the village centre. Chalet Vallon Blanc is perfectly placed at the start of the day, after a two-minute walk to the slopes you just ski down to the gondola from your door. The detached chalet is situated in a lovely location amongst the trees at the top of the village. Once the gondola reaches the top it’s just a question of which way to head off from the top into the vast Three Valleys.

Chalet Vallon Blanc lounge is light and spacious with great views over the main Tarentaise valley, plenty of comfortable seating around a log burning stove, creating a warm and welcoming place to relax.

The dining area opens onto a large private terrace in the Chalets private garden where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view.

Vallon Blanc benefits from a sauna, cosy T.V snug and five en-suite bedrooms making the chalet a great family chalet in this charming resort.

Resort details

La Tania

The most modern resort in the whole of the Trois Vallees area, built in a pleasing chalet style.

The most recently built resort in the vast Trois Vallees ski area, La Tania was initially developed in time for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics to house the Press , but has expanded steadily since then. In the past few years there has been a veritable boom in the construction of high-specification new chalets for British tour operators. Located at a respectable altitude of 1,400 metres on the road that runs between Courchevel 1300 (Le Praz) and Meribel, it is built principally in chalet style, although there are quite a few small apartment blocks containing self-catering accommodation. La Tania is the ideal place for those who are determined to ski the Trois Vallees, but are restricted to a tight budget.

In the early days nightlife and restaurant scene was very limited, but as the resort has expanded it has become considerably more lively. The Ski Lodge is the original rios-ski focal point and often has live bands, while the Telemark, situated in the chalet-style hotel of the same name, now also offers live music and an agreeable atmosphere. The Taiga is a good cocktail bar and it too has live music. The Montana has a comfortable bar. The Ferme de la Tania offers typical Savoyard fare, The Ski Lodge is renowned for its burgers and the Taiga for its pizzas.

The resort has developed over the years and now even boasts its own Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Farcon, which is also open at lunchtime for 3 Valley skiers seeking a gastronomic treat. The resort has developed over the years and now even boasts its own Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Farcon, which is also open at lunchtime for 3 Valley skiers seeking a gastronomic treat.
