Chalet Belle Etoile

Built by a local family have a reputation for constructing quality chalets, La Belle Etoile will be a stunning new addition to Val d’Isère. Occupying the top two floors of a private chalet building the views from the balconies of each room and living area look out across the picturesque mountains and town of Val.

The spacious lounge and dining areas have large picture windows which provide some of the most spectacular and beautiful views over the town. Everything about this place has been designed to a high specification, from the excellent soundproofing to the triple glazing and from the fixtures and fitting to the beds and pillows.

All the bedrooms are spacious and have their own ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and separate WC. The largest bedroom also has an additional area which houses a set of bunks. All 5 bedrooms have balconies.

The chalet also features a hot tub and a sauna on the ground floor of the building for the exclusive use of guests. There is also a heated boot room and a ski storage area.

Chalet La Belle Etoile is a 3-minute walk to the nearest bus stop which takes you to the main lifts.

Val d'Isère

One of the world's favourite ski resorts, Val d'Isère has access to the best all-around ski area in the world, the Espace Killy. With just over 100 lifts compared to the 300 to be found in the Trois Vallées, the Espace Killy is obviously not the largest ski area in the world, but size isn’t everything and this region has as much skiing as one could ever need, not to mention the longest winter in the Alps. (The winter ski season here begins in late November and continues until early May and conditions are seldom disappointing).

The main centre of Val d'Isère has been virtually rebuilt over the past 25 years and many of the buildings are imaginative contemporary interpretations of the traditional stone and Savoyard style wood structures.

Ski holidays to Val d'Isère were revolutionised with the introduction of après-ski in the 80s, when Dick Yates-Smith set up the seminal bar-nightclub known as Dicks Tea-Bar.
