The FIS Cross-Country World Cup regularly visits the area where the very best athletes race against each other. Alpine skiing in the area is mainly suited to beginners and intermediate skiers. Throughout the season, it’s mainly quiet and has uncrowded slopes that are ideal for intermediate and beginner skiers trying to progress. In addition, there’s fantastic off-piste terrain to enjoy. There are over 30 places to eat in Kaprun, and there are great bars to enjoy.
