The first ski resort you’ll experience is Gstaad, where the advanced skiers can experience the Glacier 3000 whilst the gentler skier can enjoy the tree lined runs leading down to the charming village. Off the slopes there are numerous activities to keep you occupied from guided winter walks, horse and carriage rides – perhaps to a traditional and rustic lunch stop, or even a hot air balloon for a unique view of the Alps from the sky.

The second ski resort on your journey is Zermatt. It’s an incredible destination at any time of year but in winter it is truly spectacular. A feast for the eyes: from traditional wooden and stone houses and barns in the old town to stunning Belle Epoque style buildings and all with the most picturesque mountain in the world, the Matterhorn, as backdrop. There is plenty of terrain for all abilities here and you can even ski over to Italy, down sunny south facing slopes, and of course stopping for an amazing coffee at lunch!

The Glacier Express is a highlight of the trip and will transport you in style to your final destination St Moritz. Perhaps the most iconic rail journey in Switzerland you’ll admire the views in a panoramic carriage whilst enjoying first class hospitality.

St Moritz is a historic spa town where you’ll experience winter luxury at its finest. There’s some great terrain here spread over 155km of pistes and well suited to intermediate skiers. The pistes are groomed to perfection and the covered chairlifts have heated seats so the luxury experience continues on the slopes as much as off.
