I first fell in love with skiing after a long weekend in Westendorf in Austria, aged only five. Following this, I spent my weekends honing my skills on the dry ski slopes of Glasgow. Since then, I have gone on to do three seasons, spending time as a ski instructor and staying late into the season to enjoy the charm of the mountains.

Number of Seasons

Three, Val d'Isère, St Anton and Whitewater in British Columbia covering a variety of roles from ski instructor to chalet manager.

My Favourite Resorts

Val d'Isère

Where I did my first season and fell in love with life in the mountains. Val d'Isère has got it all – great skiing, après, an array of different accommodation, picturesque village, variety of off-piste.

One of Canada's best ski towns, a vast range of skiing is available and the town is full of energy and beauty with an epic mountain backdrop from the main street.

Top Tip

If you are new to a resort, hire a guide for the day.
They will show you the best runs in the morning and afternoon, how to avoid the crowds, moguls and hidden gems!

Favourite Hotel

Lovely hotel that oozes cool, modern but still has the best of traditional chalet-style plus a two-star Michelin restaurant.
