Megève
Megève is one of the most stylish ski resorts in the Alps, with a very pretty ski area. Just over an hour’s drive from Geneva airport, Megève village is both sophisticated and chic; with smart boutiques, alluring bars and restaurants in an abundance. The ski resort has plenty of old-world charm and is extremely scenic; with cobbled streets, old baroque clocktowers and cosy wooden chalets. There is also a good choice of well-appointed hotels, some of which are close to the slopes.
The skiing in Megève is as scenic as the town itself. Most of the slopes are lined with beautiful and large wooded areas; perfect for snowy days or weaving between the trees. The ski area is suited mainly for beginners and intermediates and has a plethora of gentle green and wide blue slopes.
