Cervinia is one of Italy’s most popular ski resorts and a firm favourite amongst Ski Solutions clients. The iconic ski resort sits below the infamous Matterhorn Mountain and neighbours Zermatt in Switzerland. Skiers return year after year for the excellent border skiing and breathtaking views. The region sits at a healthy 2,050m and reaches a mammoth altitude of almost 3,500m. The snow-sure ski area is open from November to May and also offers glacier skiing in the summer.

Exploring the pistes is not the only activity to experience in this remarkable ski resort. From snowmobiling to paragliding, you won’t be bored when visiting the Italian powerhouse. Here is our pick of the top 10 things to do in Cervinia.

This trail is signposted and safe, making it the ideal route for a beginner. For something a little more challenging try the off-piste route ‘Tour of Mande’ in Valtournenche. Starting at the Valtournenche-Salette gondola, snowshoers will travel 7km of beautiful Alpine scenery over a few hours.
