La Folie Douce is a well-renowned chain of bars in France now. The original bar was in Val d’Isere and it still delivers as one of the best après ski bars in the world. It was opened in 1981 by entrepreneur Luc Reversade and his mother and head chef Mamone. Their vision of great food and drink mixed with open-air live shows still lives on today. Steeped in history, The Londoner is one the most famous bars in Austria. The winners of the classic Hahnenkamm downhill ski race will traditionally have a drink and party in the bar after their win. It is themed like a classic English pub and has been open since 1973 by Rod Stewart’s former manager Rik Gunnell. It is now a must-visit place within Kitzbühel.
