The company formed in 1986 to independently manage and advise on travel arrangements for skiers, at that time poorly serviced by the High Street travel agent. Initially operating as a travel agent, the business began to grow a fledgling tailor-made tour operating programme in the early 2000's dealing with 3-5* hotels in the ‘classic’ Alpine resorts. Account Manager

Reports to: Head of Sales

Based at: Battersea Studios, London.

Salary: Market related
 

Ski Solutions is the UK’s leading specialist ski tour operator and travel agency based in Battersea, London.  We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our sales team, reporting to the Sales Manager.

If you are a bright, enthusiastic individual with solid customer service and sales experience and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the position for you. 

Due to the nature of the work, a passion for skiing is essential. You will be an Account Manager for your clients, producing tailor-made ski holidays to fit their requirements.

Your first year OTE with us is £35k with the potential to earn £40k+ by the end of your second year.

Key skills and attribute

  • A proven and quantifiable track record showing exceptional and consistent sales performance
  • An eager attitude towards learning new product and new ways of working
  • The ability to deliver the very highest levels of customer experience
  • Language skills (French, German or Italian) would be useful

We are small, dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to develop and grow as a sales professional.  We look after our staff very well with most of our sales team having been with us for over eight years.

After Sales Executive

Reports to: General Manager

Based at: Battersea, London

Salary: £18,000pa OTE

Ski Solutions, the UK’s leading specialist ski tour operator and travel agency have been in business for over 27 years and the people who work for us have a genuine love and knowledge of both European and North American ski resorts.

Based in Battersea, London, we are looking for the brightest and the best candidates with a proven track record in customer service and an insatiable desire to deliver ‘unparalleled’ service to join our After Sales team.

As part of our After Sales team you will be responsible for every aspect of the booking process once the client has confirmed their holiday. Work includes answering client queries and providing a concierge service, processing bookings and invoices, arranging client payments, amending bookings, selling ski extras (and earning commission from this), liaising with tour operators or directly with European and North American hotels and suppliers.

Essentials:

· Previous office experience

· Excellent written communication and a friendly telephone manner

· Highly organised

· Numerate

· A love of the mountains and all things ski

Would like:

· Language skills (French, German or Italian) are useful

· A background in high-end tailor-made travel sales

After Sales Administrator

Reports to: General Manager

Based at: Battersea, London

Salary: £16,000pa

Based in Battersea, London, we are looking for the brightest and the best candidates to join our After Sales team for the upcoming winter season. As part of our After Sales team you will be responsible for processing bookings and invoices once the client has confirmed their holiday, liaising with tour operators, issuing client travel documents and booking ski extras.

This is a great opportunity for you to gain office experience during your gap year or post university, in a young, vibrant and sociable team.

Marketing Assistant Internship

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Based at: Battersea Studios, London.

Job purpose:

We are looking for a marketing assistant to join us for a three month internship.  This is an unpaid role (travel expenses only), however, provides a fantastic opportunity to work in an innovative, fast-paced environment and get hands-on marketing experience.

The main focus of this role is to work with the marketing and product teams to ensure that the best products are presented to the market primarily through the website at the right price so as to increases conversion from visits to enquiries. It will be part of this role to collate the most relevant offers for each brand from suppliers, merchandise the offers on site, communicate them to the sales team and report back on the success of set campaigns.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1.       Update properties with latest images and content

2.       Update prices and availability

3.       Monitor pricing feeds and ensure that any problems are resolved swiftly

4.       Communicate deals and sales incentives to sales team

5.       Promote special offers on site and build pages to merchandise these offers

6.       Liaise with the rest of the marketing team and suppliers for product and deal updates

7.       Complete weekly competitor analysis

8.       Manage the social media accounts and generate ideas

9.       Build SEO product pages

10.    Supporting newsletter deals section

11.    Compile the weekly newsletter

12.    Manage property reviews

13.    Adding new properties to websites

14.    Offers and offer pages

15.    Manage the property database

16.    Other activities as required by the business to meet company objectives
