Facilities

The Alpine hideaway spa is a unique Alpine wellness area accessible to adults and teenagers over 14, where guests can escape to a quiet area and rejuvenate after a day exploring the incredible resort of Zermatt. Equipped with a mountain herb-scented sauna, mountain crystal steam bath, Valaisan wood sauna, glacial shower, relaxation waterbed, swimming pool and Jacuzzi. There’s a swimming pool which is open from 8am – 10pm, the final two hours is reserved for those older than 16. If you’re looking for a spa treatment or massage, Hotel Mirabeau has a fantastic choice – it’s recommended you book these before your arrival to ensure availability.

Restaurants & Bars

Veranda Restaurant– Located in the spacious winter garden, Restaurant Veranda serves a delicious breakfast as well as a daily tasting menu in the evening. Executive Chef David Georgi has designed a delectable menu taking you on a culinary journey throughout the alps using locally sourced produce.

Le Bar – Le bar can be enjoyed throughout the day, grab a home-made cake or pastry to kick start the day, enjoy delicacies from the adjacent Marie’s Deli for apéro or sink into an armchair by the fire with an expertly crafted cocktail or glass of wine.

Marie’s Deli – Named after great-aunt Marie who owned the first delicatessen shop in Zermatt, this lovely deli serves home-made delicacies to be enjoyed in house or to be taken away.
In room dining – Whether you would love breakfast in bed, some afternoon snacks or an evening meal, everything available in Marie’s Deli can be delivered to your room.

Location

Located in the centre of Zermatt Hotel Mirabeau is in a quiet location just off the main road and close to the station. Guests of the hotel have the best of both worlds with incredible access to the heart of Zermatt and easy access to the skiing, the Gornergratbahn and ski bus stop are just a five minute walk away and the Sunnega lift station is approximately eight minutes.

Bedrooms

Standard Single – This comfortable room features a French single bed as well as a small desk and chair. The north-facing balcony is perfect for enjoying the morning mountain sunshine.

Single Alpine – Featuring a comfortable French single this 18 square metre room has everything the solo traveller needs. 

Standard Double – Beautifully decorated with locally sourced pine this traditional rooms offers a queen bed or two singles as well as a sofa. The north-east facing balcony lets you enjoy the fresh morning air while watching the sunrise, if you’re up early enough.

Superior Double – The superior double is a large 35 squared metre room with a large queen bed or two singles in it. There is also a large living room area which can accommodate one extra bed. 

Deluxe Double with Matterhorn views – The European boutique styled room features a large queen bed or two singles, the large living room area can sleep one extra person. Enjoy beautiful views of the Matterhorn from the south-facing balcony. This room type is available with a connecting door to the Standard Double room making it great for families of three to five.

Luxury Suite with Matterhorn views – Located on the top floor of the main building the room has a large king bed, walk-in closet and an elegant bathroom with Jacuzzi. Lounge chairs and sunbeds await you on the large south-facing terrace with picture perfect views of the Matterhorn. Perfect for two people.

Alpine Loft Suite with Matterhorn views – The luxurious Alpine Loft Suite has a rooms 88 squared metres of modern Alpine style. With an open bathroom and free standing Jaccuzzi bathtub for two this is the perfect room for a romantic getaway. Enjoy magnificent views of the Matterhorn from the large terrace. This room sleeps two.

Alpine Junior Suite – The Alpine Junior Suites are modern and luxurious rooms with a romantic canopy bed, seating, open bathroom, rain shower and large bathtub. Decorated using locally sourced natural materials such as old fir and larch wood, granite, woollen felt, linen and loden the rooms have an authentically Alpine feel to them. Great for two people.

Alpine Junior Suite with Matterhorn view – Offering a large Queen size bed, seating area with two comfortable armchairs and open bathroom this suite has magnificent views of the famous Matterhorn. Some of these room types also offer a walk-in closet and some a sofa bed for an extra person. Perfect for two people

Triple Room – With one large queen size bed or two singles and an additional sofa bed the Triple room is great for groups of three and small families looking for a comfortable place to stay in Zermatt.

Junior Suite – The Junior Suite is perfect for groups of three with one queen size bed, or two singles and a separate living area with a sofa bed. The Junior suite  also has its own cloak room and a bathroom with a shower-bathtub combination and separate lavatory.

Junior Suite with Matterhorn views – Perfect for three people these room types have magnificent views of the Matterhorn from the south-facing terrace. This modern boutique styled room features a large queen size bed or two singles as well as a large living room which can accommodate an extra bed.

Family Suite with Matterhorn views – Great for a family of four, the family suite with Matterhorn views is located on the top floor of the main building. The two-bedroom suite has its own cosy dining room as well as two flat screen TVs. The elegant bathroom has a bath and a separate shower.

Zermatt

Zermatt ski resort is commonly regarded as one of the best ski towns in the world, offering fabulous skiing, stupendous scenery and an extensive variety of high-quality restaurants and hotels. There has been a settlement here since the Middle Ages, with the first tourists flocking to the area in 1838. The town retains its traditional charm to this day with it being car-free, which creates a wonderfully relaxed and peaceful atmosphere and allows visitors to enjoy the clear mountain air. Free electric buses connect all the main lift stations on the valley floor and there are plenty of milk float-style electric taxis for hire. Wander off the main Bahnhofstrasse and you will quickly be walking beside ancient wooden “mazot” huts filled with farm animals and hay.

The magnificent Matterhorn is sufficient reason in itself to visit Zermatt. This distinctive pyramidal peak has become Switzerland's trademark around the globe. Wherever you are on the slopes or in the village, you cannot resist regular glances to see how its appearance is changing according to the light and the cloud conditions. At an altitude of 3,883m, the Matterhorn Ski Paradise is Switzerland's highest ski area; guaranteeing fabulous conditions all season long which truly live up to the magic of the town.
