The Nira Alpina hotel, in the Swiss resort of Surlej at the foot of Mt. Corvatsch, is designed for independent, nomadic travellers. All rooms and suites feature a large terrace or balcony and panoramic windows overlooking the Engadin mountains. Inside, the spacious accommodation at our Surlej hotel is neither ostentatiously glitzy, nor traditionally folksy. Natural materials such as Swiss Spruce, Italian stone and suede are used and hi-tech amenities include a flat-screen TV showing 87 channels, an iPod docking station and free Wi-Fi. Each modern granite bathroom has a deep bath and waterfall shower.

Five rooms in our Engadine hotel are interconnecting – a connecting door lets you combine two double rooms and separate them again when you want to be undisturbed.
