The Grand Hotel Park Gstaad, was first opened in 1910 and over the years has maintained its reputation as a high-quality hotel through its focus on maintaining traditional swiss hospitality and combining this with a contemporary design, which creates a luxurious feel. Situated in the centre of Gstaad, which is well-known for its understated charm and luxury as well as picturesque mountain views and of course great skiing, this hotel has so much to offer.
The hotel has 84 rooms and 10 suites spread over five floors, with contemporary interiors and modern fittings and decorated in styles inspired by the surrounding scenery and traditional chalet interiors. The rooms are spacious and bright and the use of reclaimed wood makes you feel as if you are in your own personal chalet, but with all the luxuries of a hotel. Additionally, all rooms boast terrific views of either the charming town, the mountains or the forest.
Dining at Grand Hotel Park Gstaad is a real treat and people from all over come to enjoy the culinary delights. The hotel boasts four different restaurants, as well as a fantastic bar and wine bar “The Caveau”. “Chubut” for example is new to the hotel and is inspired by the Chubut province in Patagonian Argentina and offers terrific food prepared by the Chef Agustin Brañas who attempts to transports guests back to Argentina with his blend of flavours and textures. Other restaurants include “Restaurant”, simply named but not simple in its dishes. It brings together traditional Swiss cuisine and contemporary dishes to create amazing gastronomic delights.
As well as terrific dining and luxury accommodation, the hotel also has a top of the range spa and wellness area which includes an indoor pool and gym with personal trainers.
