Sälen Ski Resort Sweden

Sälen is one of Sweden's most loved ski areas, consisting of four resorts Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället. The Sälen ski pass provides assess to over 100 slopes including Northern Europe's largest interconnected button lift area and one of Sweden's steepest groomed ski areas, as well as boasting Scandinavia's newest chairlift. The season here generally runs from mid November through to the end of April.

Sälen is one of Sweden's most family-friendly ski areas with many kilometres of child-friendly skiing and a multitude of non-skiing activities. Spend your time off the slopes going to the waterpark, indoor surfing, the cinema, dog-sled tours, snowmobile safaris or visiting the many shops and restaurants.

Access to Sälen couldn't be easier, being just a 20 minute transfer from the brand new Scandinavian Mountain Airport which SAS fly to directly.

Sälen is one of the top resorts across Sweden with 90 lifts and access to 100 runs. It has the newest lift across the whole of Scandinavia and many non-skiing activities for the whole family.

Despite being a predominantly family-orientated resort with brilliant kids and beginners areas, Sälen has some more challenging terrain with a number of difficult red and black runs as well as one of Sweden's steepest groomed areas.

In Sälen there are around 50 top quality restaurants with specialties ranging from traditionally prepared game to Italian delicacies, many with child-friendly menus. There are also a number of bars with a wide ranging cocktail list and cosy seating areas, with a few going later into the night with live bands and DJs.
