Arabba’s position in the middle of the Dolomiti Superski area means that there is a huge amount of enjoyment to be had on the mountain's extensive slopes. Elevated between 1,602m and 2,476m, the 63km of slopes in Arabba, and the other 1200km of piste it has access to, means skiers and boarders won't get bored.
Skiing in Arabba ski resort is best suited to intermediates and experts. There are nursery slopes in the village, however, those looking to graduate onto the slopes further up the mountain will find the transition somewhat challenging. It is a great base from which skiers can enjoy the interconnected Sellaronda ski circuit, that runs around the Sella Gruppo Massif, encompassing the ski resorts of Arabba, Alta Badia, Val Gardena and Val di Fassa.
Although not specifically known for snowboarders, Arabba ski resort has some steep pistes for experts as well as a snow park for all ability of riders.

The Folly Club is a mini club for children between 2 and 12 years. It hosts different activities such as indoor play and sledging and is conveniently located near the ski slopes in Arabba ski resort.
With its blended Austrian and Italian heritage, the Dolomites has a deep-rooted culinary tradition that is to be enjoyed in whichever ski resort you find yourself dining. Rifugio Fodom is a fantastic restaurant in the Passo Pordoi ski area of Arabba. Boasting almost panoramic views down towards Arabba village, it is a great place to stop off along the Sellaronda ski circuit. Expect delicious Italian cuisine, great wine and excellent service.
Like most of the smaller ski resorts around the Dolomiti Superski area, there isn’t a huge après scene. Despite this, there are some gems to be discovered in and around Arabba. Check out Rifugio Plan Boe, a great place to stop on the way back to the village for a drink and some dancing on the tables. With an easy cruising blue run back down into the village, Plan Boe is a great option for those craving a bit of après on the mountain.
Non-skiers who still enjoy winter sports can choose from ice skating, snowshoeing or snowmobiling. There are also hotels that offer wellness centres as well as bookable treatments (both at a fee) for those staying in resort.
