Hotel Tsanteleina is a four-star hotel located in the centre of Val d’Isère on the main avenue. Just 150m away from ski lifts, this hotel is beautifully designed with lashings of wood to create a standout alpine residence in the stylish resort of Val d’Isère. The bus stops right outside, or it is a short walk - under five minutes - to the nursery slopes and main lift.
Opened in 1948 by Roger Mattis with just 18 rooms, the hotel is still run by the Mattis family but now boasts 54 rooms and suites – and has undergone some significant transformations in the past few years. The M Bar is a good spot for an aperitif or an after-dinner drink. The hotel's fine dining restaurant, La Table des Neiges, has been recommended in the Michelin guide. Thanks to the hotel's fantastic location in the heart of the resort, a variety of other restaurants can be found a short walk away.
Hotel Tsanteleina's spa is the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. Split across two levels, the spa features an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam. There are a variety of treatments on offer, such as massages and facials.
