Chalet Cristal 1 benefits from a superb setting, tucked away from the main road in Val d'Isère and just 150m from the La Daille telecabine and the Funival, the high speed funicular that whisks skiers to the top of Bellevarde at 2,800 metres in only a few minutes. From here, guests have a huge choice of pistes with easy access across to Tignes, and can ski back to within about 150m of the chalet, at the very point where the Val d'Isère World Cup Downhill finishes.

At the top of the La Daille telecabine sits the world-famous après bar La Folie Douce, known for its live music, exuberant dancers and brilliant atmosphere. Guests can also walk easily into the centre of Val d'Isère, or make use of the free bus service that runs throughout the day and continues until 2am, with the nearest stop just 100m from the chalet.
