Chalet Caro

Just eight minutes from the centre of Méribel, Chalet Caro is a striking, contemporary chalet built into the hillside with mountain views from almost every room. Modern furnishings sit against traditional Savoyard timber, and the top-floor sitting room — with its log fire, home cinema and vaulted ceiling — is built for slumping into after a day's skiing. Four double/twin bedrooms are spread across the middle and lower floors, each with its own en suite.

Down on the middle floor, the open-plan designer kitchen and dining area spills out onto a south-facing terrace with a hot tub and gorgeous views straight across to the slopes. Méribel's main lifts are a four-minute bus/drive away, private driver or regular taxis can be organised at an additional cost. Alternatively guests can reach the slopes via an 8-minute walk and the escalator in the middle of town.

Please note: The chalet is strictly non-smoking, does not accept pets, and — due to the hot tub, stream and staircase — isn't recommended for children under 5.
