Les Chalets du Soleil

Les Chalets du Soleil sits piste-side in Les Menuires, France, giving it's guests access to the entire Three Valleys ski area. The two styles of chalet: the trendy and the authentic, are perfect for those looking for a stylish self-catered holiday.

The trendy apartments are four-star apartments that blend chic style and warm, cosy interior. The apartments have a sauna and hammam that can be used at the end of the long ski day to unwind and relax.

The authentic apartments are traditional Savoyard-style properties with wooden cladding, warm Alpine decor and a rich colour palette. The open fireplace in the apartments surrounded by comfy furnishings makes a great spot to wind down with a glass of wine or a hot chocolate at the end of the day.

There are a variety of apartment configurations in both styles. The apartments sleep between 5 and 15 guests. The relaxation area is only available for those staying in the trendy apartments.

Les Menuires

Lying just below Val Thorens, Les Menuires ski resort is a great place to base your skiing holiday with plenty to offer beginners on the lower slopes and the whole of the Three Valleys ski area to satisfy intermediate and advanced skiers. The village itself is purpose-built and extremely convenient for skiers thanks to the wide range of ski-in ski-out accommodation.

Les Menuires ski resort itself has 160km of sunny local slopes, perfect for first-time skiers and beginners. You can access 600km of piste if you buy a full Three Valleys lift pass. The possibilities are endless with Meribel, Courchevel and nearby Val Thorens all linked. This makes Les Menuires ski resort a great destination for mixed ability groups or families.

If you want to ski the Three Valleys at a reasonable price, Les Menuires ski resort is the best choice. The ski area is at your doorstep. It’s also a quieter option than the neighbouring ski resorts. Perfect if you want to unwind after a long day's skiing.

In addition to this, there are plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy after the lifts have closed. There are a few nightclubs on offer, however, in general, the après ski scene here is slightly more laid back compared to some of the other ski resorts nearby.

The village is mostly apartment blocks. It is very convenient with direct access to the slopes, plenty of shops and a good choice of places to eat. There are also fantastic views to admire on and off the slopes.

The reasonably short transfer time from Chambery Airport is another plus. Depending on flight timings, you can squeeze in some extra skiing before heading home. Especially as you ski back to the accommodation with ease.
