Resort details

Les Arcs

Les Arcs ski resort has four main purpose-built centres, which are named according to their height. The original ski resort was Les Arcs 1600, however the nearby Les Arcs 1800 is now the main hub and extremely popular with skiers due to its great après scene. Les Arcs 1800 has a great position with easy access to the Paradiski ski area, linked with La Plagne. Both are typical purpose-built developments, but blend well into the tree-lined hillside which makes them easy on the eye.

The remaining two resort centres Les Arcs 1950 and Les Arcs 2000 are in a different valley but are also fantastic developments that consist of more traditional and luxury properties.

With a cleverly designed skiing area from 2000m altitude down to the base camp at Bourg-St-Maurice, the ability level of skiing and snowboarding at Les Arcs descends from “intense” high altitude downhill skiing, through playful snowparks, beautiful alpine villages, and learner slopes. Les Arcs is an excellent ski resort for intermediate skiers wanting to improve or be pushed in their abilities.
