Flaine

Flaine ski resort is part of the wonderful Grand Massif ski area. The ski resort is purpose-built based and located at 1,600m in the Haute-Savoie region, which is perfectly suited for families. Flaine ski resort is made up mainly of large apartment buildings which are perfect for groups, along with plenty of bars, eateries and shops.

Flaine ski resort has plenty of great skiing too, with lots of idyllic wooded piste runs and access to the larger Grand Massif ski area. All levels of skiers will enjoy Flaine ski resort because of the diverse ski terrain available in the area. Beginners have easy access to gentle learning areas right near the main town. There are plenty of long easy blues and reds for intermediate skiers to enjoy. Advanced skiers will love the challenging black runs and superb off-piste on offer. Located less than two hours from Geneva airport, this is a great option if you are looking for a ski resort with a short transfer time.

The main village of Flaine Ski resort has a lot of ski-in ski-out accommodation options with a variety of places to stay. The nightlife is very relaxed with some brilliant restaurants and local bars to visit on and off the slopes.
