A brilliant snow record, access to the large ski area of Lech-Zurs and plentiful off-piste skiing make for a resort that we can’t wait to get out to this season.
Amongst some of the most snowsure in all of the Alps, the pretty mountain villages of Warth and Schröcken receive over 11m of snow on their upper slopes, making them way up there on our list of top resorts to ski. Beginners and intermediates will be comfortable on piste yet there is plenty of off-piste powder joy to be had for more advanced skiers and boarders. Since the 13/14 season, this relatively small ski area has been linked to the vast Lech-Zurs ski area, opening up over 305km of pristine pistes to be explored.
