Skiing in Stuben

With access to the superb skiing available across the St. Anton ski area and often great snow conditions, the relatively unknown ski resort of Stuben is well worth a visit. The underused local area is a pleasant difference between the busier slopes in St. Anton. Off-piste opportunities are extensive and the sunny slopes are perfect for cruising the day away. A dedicated area for beginners is perfect to start learning on and St. Anton offers plenty of runs to progress to. 

Snowboarding in Stuben

One of the most popular places in Austria for snowboarders, nearby St. Anton offers endless freeriding opportunities. With a great record of snow fall, the off-piste is sublime. For the more novice boarders the beginner slopes in Stuben are a great place to start and there are plenty of wide, open pistes to progress to.

The village has a selection of local restaurants specialising in traditional dishes as well as international cuisine. Willi’s serves pizza and ribs for lunch and dinner ensuring you are ready for the next day on the slopes. For more traditional cuisine, Berhaus Stuber serves delicious hearty Austrian food.

Après Ski in Stuben

The small village is relatively quiet during the evening and the bars have more of a relaxed atmosphere. The charming Old Post, Albona and The Hubertusof are the most popular and recommended bars in the village, providing a comfortable and tranquil place to have a drink after the day. For a more lively evening, St. Anton offers more diverse options.

Non-Skiers

There is a large leisure centre with pools as well as a sports centre in St. Anton. With the stunning scenery there are also plenty of lovely walks to be had. There is also a tobogganing track through the Rauztobel that can be enjoyed by everyone.
