Hotel Post Lech Arlberg
One of the finest luxury ski hotels in Austria, if not the Alps, the Post Lech Arlberg is delightfully relaxed, located in the centre of Lech and rates comfortably as our favourite hotel in the resort. Originally a staging post, it has been in the Moosbrugger family for over 60 years and is now run by Florian and his wife, Sandra.
The Post Lech Arlberg's restaurant is excellent with a superb wine list featuring many interesting Austrian wines.
Facilities are naturally five star and include a superb swimming pool and spa.
The Gasthof post is extremely popular so early booking is highly recommended - it also operates a strict Sunday to Sunday booking policy, except in very low season.

The rooms could not be more delightful. Truly alpine in style, they vary from the spacious standard doubles to the excellent Jager rooms which are even larger. Postillion or Postmeister apartments might have a fireplace or their own steam bath and the Herzog and Fursten suites are the height of luxury. There are also 2 delightful suites in the tiny chalet across the road - one ideal for families.
