Hotel Madlein
The Madlein has emerged as one of the coolest hotels in the Alps and is part of the Chic Design Hotels marketing group. Not all the rooms have been refurbished and so there are still signs of the older, dark wood, rustic style in the standard category. 'Komfort' rooms have been updated with lighter wood, new bathrooms and Laura Ashley fabrics. There are nine 'Design' rooms which reflect the modern redesign with Phillipe Starck bathrooms and modern art on the walls.
