Chalet Joy (Flachau)

Tucked into the snowy slopes above Wagrain in Salzburger Land, Chalet Joy is a beautiful retreat built from natural timber and stone. This spacious chalet sleeps up to fourteen guests across seven bedrooms, making it a wonderful choice for larger groups.

Each morning begins with a generous breakfast served in the cosy dining room. With the ski area just a short distance away, days are spent among the 244 kilometres of pistes that make up this corner of the Salzburger Sportwelt, part of the wider Ski Amadé network with connections through to Flachau and Alpendorf St. Johann.

For quieter moments, two saunas and a Turkish steam cabin provide a wonderfully soothing end to the day, before a delicious three-course dinner is served by the chalet's own hosts.

The bedrooms are spread across three floors. The top floor houses a beautiful master suite with its own wood stove, sauna and private bathroom, along with a further double room sharing a balcony. The first floor offers two further doubles alongside the chalet's elegant dining and living spaces, while the ground floor holds three more bedrooms, including one with its own private sauna and steam cabin.
