Milky Way Skiing
Straddling the French-Italian border, the Milky Way ski area boasts over 400km of pistes between a range of linked ski resorts.
Perfect for all types of skiing; from families looking for a relaxing getaway to those that love après as much as they love the slopes, Milky Way has something to cater to everyone's needs. High-speed lifts from the 2006 Winter Olympics link the resorts of Sauze d'Oulx, Sestriere, Claviere and Montgenèvre, meaning less time queueing and more time playing on the snow.
Each of the ski resorts in the Milky Way ski area differs in size and their atmosphere. Reaching altitudes of 2,035m in Sauze d'Oulx, the ski area is relatively snow-sure and suits skiers of all ages and abilities.
