I started snowboarding at the age of 18 and fell in love with the mountains. I have done a season in Courchevel and a summer season in Morzine as well as visiting other, mainly French, resorts. I have over 2 years’ experience in the travel industry and tend to spend most of my holiday heading out to the Alps whenever possible.
Don’t give up on powder skiing, the falls and sweat are worth it in the end!
Started snowboarding at 18 years old and have mainly visited France as well as some of Canada and the rest of Europe.
Getting a metre of fresh powder in Les Deux Alpes in April, it was a complete surprise and I was really unprepared with just a light shell jacket, I was soaked but it was so much fun.
Have a soft spot for both Tignes and Morzine as love the ski areas and towns, they have everything.
Courchevel, Meribel, Val Thorens, La Tania, Alpe d'Huez, Les Deux Alpes Val d'Isere, Tignes, Les Gets, Morzine, Avoriaz, Vars, Grindelwald, Cervinia. Two week road trip ticking off Mount Baker, Whistler, Revelstoke and Banff during 2010 Winter Olympics which was amazing.
