Chalet Isabella

This charming 17 bed chalet has a lot to offer. It is designed in the traditional chalet style with wooden panels, stone walls and tasteful but practical furnishings and it's situated in the idyllic village of Tignes Les Brévières, which is easily connected by a ski lift to the “Espace Killy” ski area. Les Brévières is a great alternative to the large, purpose-built town of Tignes le Lac, but still offers great skiing and has an appealing small village charm, but with all the suitable conveniences, so you have a hassle-free and enjoyable holiday.

The chalet is laid out over four floors, the spacious living room is the perfect place to host après-ski before going out, or for a relaxing night in with friends. There is access from the living room to a south-facing balcony overlooking the village. On a split-level, down from the dining room, there is a wet-area with a sauna and the outdoor hot-tub which again enjoys fantastic views over the village and lake.

The bedrooms are all finished to a high standard; there are three twin/doubles with en-suites and one triple room with en-suite. The other bedrooms are two eaves bedrooms which share one bathroom and another two bedrooms which share a shower room and can be used a family room via adjoining locking door if required.

A stay in Chalet Isabella and in Tignes Les Brévières would give you a chance to enjoy the fantastic ski runs of the area, coupled with an excellent chalet, in a delightful village setting.

Resort details

Ski holidays in Tignes offer lively atmosphere with world class snow-sure skiing on the doorstep.

Tignes was created before the French discovered the benefits of making purpose-built resorts look attractive, although it has to be said that  some attractive new buildings are being added. The renovated old village at the lowest point of the slopes is a favourite lunch spot and a friendly and nice place to stay.

Tignes lies at an altitude of 2,100m and the main settlement is at Tignes Le Lac, which also has a satellite suburb called Le Lavachet, but there is another satellite development along the road at Val Claret, at the foot of the lifts up to the Grande Motte. Getting between the various parts of Tignes is easy enough on skis during the day and Le Lac and Le Lavachet are within reasonable walking distance of each other. A shuttle bus service links Val Claret with the rest of Tignes. It runs frequently during the day, half-hourly after 8.30pm and hourly after midnight throughout the night.
