One of the top four-stars in Zermatt, the Alpenhof is renowned for the standard of its cuisine with its celebrated Michelin-starred “Le Gourmet” restaurant. Run by the Julen family, it is luxuriously furnished throughout yet the atmosphere is relaxed and informal.

There is a comfortable bar area with open fireplace and lots of sofas as well as an attractive circular wood carved bar. There is often live piano music to add to the relaxed atmosphere.

The "Vanessa" pool/spa complex is one of the best in Zermatt with many features including a large indoor pool, jaccuzzi, sauna, Tepidarium, Caldarium, Laconium, flavour-cave, water-treading, cold steam, tropical style shower, open fireplace and the Beauty-Center with Hay and Cleopatra bath treatments.
