Hotel Neuhaus is a beautiful and traditional old building full of charm and character. Run by the Moigg family, their guests return year after year to enjoy the excellent food, service and facilities. The hotel comprises two interconnecting buildings; the traditional Neuhaus main building, and the newly renovated St. Josef wing.
The hotel is conveniently located 100m from the centre of the village, as well as 400m from the lifts. Alternatively, there is a ski bus stop 50m away to take you to the main lift.

Mayrhofen is one of the largest interlinked ski resorts in the Tyrol. You can enjoy winter walks on well-maintained footpaths, cross-country skiing in glorious sunshine or fun sports including snow-tubing, skidoo and snowshoe trekking. Mayrhofen ski resort has 204km of stunning piste for you to explore on your winter ski getaway.
Located in the heart of the Zillertal ski area, Mayrhofen ski resort has something for everybody. Whether you’re on a family ski holiday or looking for lively après, you are bound to have fun. The ski area is impressive with access to nearby ski resorts Fügen, Kaltenbach, Zell am Ziller and the Hintertux Glacier. All the ski resorts are available to ski with a Zillertaler Superskipass.
Mayrhofen ski resort is home to the steepest piste in Austria, the black Harakiri. A great way for advanced skiers to test themselves on the mountain. The off-piste skiing opportunities are great too in the Zillertal area, above and below the treeline. Beginners have dedicated areas at the top of the mountain. The Pepis Kinderland on the Penken summit and the Übungsland Penken at the top of the Penkenbahn are both beginner ski areas. There are gentle blues on the Ahorn to progress from.
Families can enjoy the new Fun Ride Ahorn park which has child-friendly obstacles as well as a skicross course. There is a great selection of ski schools and childcare facilities to choose from. Restaurants also have a great welcoming atmosphere and kid’s menus in the village. Off the slopes, the Erlebnisbad swimming complex is very popular.
Mayrhofen ski resort has an excellent party reputation with the famous Snowbombing music festival staged every April. There is also great après-ski spots on and off the slopes to visit throughout the season.
The village itself still has a traditional alpine charm. Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery from the bottom of the steep valley village location. The main road passing through the ski resort is mainly quiet, so it has a pedestrianised feel to it. A great place to relax or party depending on your preference.
