Grimentz is more typically chosen for its peaceful mountain charm and uncrowded slopes – rather than the promised party atmosphere of its nearby counterparts, Zermatt or Verbier. Le Country Pub is a superb wine bar offering karaoke, live music and a pool table; whilst Domino attracts a younger clientele with its darts board and snacks until 1am.

Grimentz is a fantastic destination for groups due to its versatility. Whilst the keen skier will be out making the most of the powder, those looking for off-slope activities will enjoy touring the historic sites, learning about the Vin du Glacier wine, visiting the communal cattle shed and finding out what 19th century life was like in La Maison de Grand Maman.
