If you’re an advanced skier there are some challenging black runs and the option to go to nearby La Plagne and Les Arcs. Beginners have great access to nursery slopes near the main village.

Ski Areas in Peisey-Vallandry

Access to the Paradiski area allows you to explore a vast area of slopes of varying difficulties. An extensive lift system makes it easy to connect between the different areas. For beginners, there are plenty of learning slopes and easy runs to progress to. For more experienced skiers, the variety of runs across the Paradiski area presents almost endless opportunities. The skiing in Peisey itself is more occupied with trees than that of the other ski resorts but is equally varied with great terrain to explore.

Skiing in Peisey-Vallandry

The areas around Peisey-Vallandry ski resort are well suited to beginners and intermediates, with a good amount of blues to cruise around on. There isn’t a huge amount of challenging blacks in the area, but with the abilitiy to head over to La Plagne and Les Arcs your options for more difficult descents become vast. At the top of the Aiguille Rouge, there is a great run down to Villaroger that has a vertical drop of 2,000m.

Snowboarding in Peisey-Vallandry

Snowboarders can enjoy quiet, traffic-free slopes to cruise down. Freeriders will find some great tree runs but will probably have to head over to La Plagne or Les Arcs for more challenging off-piste. The local terrain park is located in Les Arcs and is perfect for any level of park boarder.
