Chalet Toit du Monde

As the sister property of Chalet Himalaya, Toit du Monde is an elegantly designed luxury getaway that provides excellent facilities while creating its own sense of privacy and style. Located on the ski slopes just above La Daille, this ski in/ ski out chalet offers excellent access to the Espace Killy ski area.

Throughout your stay you will be looked after by a friendly and dedicated team there to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. Every night, the chalet's chef prepares a heavenly meal for you and your party (6 nights a week). Children are well looked after too with special lunch and suppers to keep them full and happy. Adding to the luxury of the chalet, enjoy champagne and canapés on a daily basis prior to your evening meal on a daily basis.

The main living area in the chalet is fitted with a warming fireplace. Coupled with the comfortable sofas, you have the perfect area and atmosphere to help you unwind after a day on the slopes. The chalet is ideal for groups and families with larger parties able to book both chalet Toit du Monde and Chalet Himalaya together.

Val d'Isère

One of the world's favourite ski resorts, Val d'Isère has access to the best all-around ski area in the world, the Espace Killy. With just over 100 lifts compared to the 300 to be found in the Trois Vallées, the Espace Killy is obviously not the largest ski area in the world, but size isn’t everything and this region has as much skiing as one could ever need, not to mention the longest winter in the Alps. (The winter ski season here begins in late November and continues until early May and conditions are seldom disappointing).

The main centre of Val d'Isère has been virtually rebuilt over the past 25 years and many of the buildings are imaginative contemporary interpretations of the traditional stone and Savoyard style wood structures.

Ski holidays to Val d'Isère were revolutionised with the introduction of après-ski in the 80s, when Dick Yates-Smith set up the seminal bar-nightclub known as Dicks Tea-Bar.
