Airelles Val-d’Isère - Mademoiselle

The Hotel Mademoiselle, inspired by medieval architecture, is a brand new luxury property opening for 2019/20 season in the heart of Val d'Isère. The property boasts an impressive 41 rooms including 11 suites and five private apartments with personal butlers.

After a long day skiing the spa is the perfect place to relax and recuperate. There is a pool, sauna, jacuzzi, children’s aquatic area, five well-being cabins for treatments and that's just the beginning. Kids can enjoy the wonderful Children's Kingdom, an immersive 100 m² area with an enchanted Broceliande Forrest, open from 9 am to 10 pm.

A fine selection of restaurants are on hand to cater to your every need. Le Carnotzet -  an authentic cheeses and regional specialties, in a traditional Savoyard atmosphere; Bar - an elegant bar where the creations will delight lovers of rare alcohol and fine wines, an exceptional Champagne menu created exclusively by female winemakers; Le VI - a wide variety of local delicacies, generous buffet and prestigious wine list; Le Fumoir - a specialty cigar bar.

Val d'Isère

One of the world's favourite ski resorts, Val d'Isère has access to the best all-around ski area in the world, the Espace Killy. With just over 100 lifts compared to the 300 to be found in the Trois Vallées, the Espace Killy is obviously not the largest ski area in the world, but size isn’t everything and this region has as much skiing as one could ever need, not to mention the longest winter in the Alps. (The winter ski season here begins in late November and continues until early May and conditions are seldom disappointing).

The main centre of Val d'Isère has been virtually rebuilt over the past 25 years and many of the buildings are imaginative contemporary interpretations of the traditional stone and Savoyard style wood structures.

Ski holidays to Val d'Isère were revolutionised with the introduction of après-ski in the 80s, when Dick Yates-Smith set up the seminal bar-nightclub known as Dicks Tea-Bar.
